Why Is There A New Order Type On My Register?


Introduction:

When the Online Order app is downloaded onto your Clover Station, it will create a new order type to manage and track your online orders. This order type is:

  • Online Pickup

Please do not delete this order type.  If the Online Pickup order type is deleted, it can l cause your Online Order app not to function properly and you may miss your online orders. We have monitors that look for errors and one of the more important ones has been detecting whether a required order type for Online Order to operate is missing.


You can verify your Order Types by:

  • Accessing your Clover dashboard

  • Open your Clover Setup app

  • Click on Order Types


If you do not have the Online Pickup order type:

  • Uninstall the Online Order app

    • Access the Clover App Market (Get More Apps)

    • Search/Locate the Online Order app by 4 Leaf Labs

    • Click on Uninstall

    • Verify that Online Order is no longer on your Clover dashboard

  • Install the Online Order app

    • Access the Clover App Market (Get More Apps)

    • Search/Locate the Online Order app by 4 Leaf Labs

    • Select your subscription plan

    • Click on Accept and Install

  • Verify Online Order type present:

    • Accessing your Clover dashboard

    • Open your Clover Setup app

    • Click on Order Types
